Women Group Wants Vice President Position, 35% Affirmative Action In 2019 Elections The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Nigeria, on Friday advocated for positions of Vice President, Deputy Governors and Vice Chairmen of Local Government to women in future elections. This was part of the ten points resolutions reached at the end of a 2-day Nigeria Women Political Stakeholders Summit in Abuja. The summit with the theme: “Increasing the Participation of Women in Governance process in Nigeria,” was organised by NCWS. The tests are expected to take up to two months to complete and could lead to elements from several designs being merged together to create effective walls, Ronald Vitiello, US Customs and Border Protection's acting deputy commissioner said on Thursday. Results of the testing will dictate future wall construction, which has not yet been funded by Congress. Supersonic car test before world record run A supersonic car combining the technology of a fighter jet, F1 car and spacecraft has been tested in public ahead of a land speed world record attempt. Bloodhound SSC has been built over nine years by a team of Bristol-based engineers from aeronautical and automotive backgrounds. After weeks of trials, the car was put through its paces at Newquay Airport in Cornwall.
